Open Existing Project

Opening existing projects in AutomatR Studio allows you to continue working on or modify previously created automation solutions. Here's a brief overview of how to open existing projects in AutomatR Studio:

  1. Launch AutomatR Studio on your computer if it's not already running.

  2. After launching the application, you'll be presented with the AutomatR Studio interface.

  3. To open an existing project, go to the File menu located in the top-left corner of the UI.

  4. From the File menu, click on Open Project. This action will allow you to browse your computer's file system to locate and select the project you want to open.

  5. When you click Open Project, a file explorer window will appear. Use this window to navigate to the location where your existing project is stored. This could be on your local machine or a network location.

  6. Once you locate your project folder, select it by clicking on it to highlight it.

  7. After selecting the project folder, click the Open button or double-click the folder to open the project in AutomatR Studio.

  8. Upon opening the project, you will see the project structure in the Solution Explorer panel on the right side of the UI. This structure includes folders for workflows, libraries, assets, and configuration files.

  9. With the project open, you can continue working on your automation workflows. You can add new workflows, modify existing ones, and make any necessary changes to your automation solution.

  10. Remember to save your work as needed using the Save or Save All options in the File menu to ensure your progress is preserved.
